Chili Rubbed Steak Tacos

I wanted to share this recipe from our progressive dinner...the steak rub is awesome!

1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of cayenne pepper


Stir these ingredients together and rub on both sides of 1 1/4 lb top sirloin steak (cut 1 inch thick). Grill or broil steak for 5-6 minutes per side, or until med-rare. Remove meat and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Carve into thin slices.

Serve with:
12 small tortillas
3 cups red cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
1 lime, cut into wedges
salsa
