New Shades

Yesterday I started my Christmas shopping in Jeffersonville at the outlet mall. I was able to find a few gifts, a few things for the house at the Pottery Barn outlet and these fun red sunglasses at Kate Spade.

The Final Countdown!

Chris is scheduled to come home in ONE MONTH for his 15 day leave from Afghanistan. I'm going to attempt to blog something everyday until he gets here so let me know if you have any ideas for topics :)

New Art

I finally got our two year anniversary photos framed and hung...it only took a year! Our friend Chelsa took them for us last year, you can check out her work here. Here is the final product:

New Hair!

I went in for a cut/color a few weeks ago and here are the results.

Max's Winter Gear

The weather in Ohio has turned chilly and Max has been getting cold so I'm trying to find him the right gear(don't pass judgment about him wearing clothes, you'd get cold too if you were only 9lbs).

Here is a coat that I bought him last year that was too big but I think with a little altering will fit this year:



I bought him this coat this year but he didn't like it so I took it back. He wouldn't/couldn't bend his front legs so he walked with straight front legs while wearing it...comical, but not pratical:



I liked the coat we had for him last year because it was windbreaker material so he didn't get wet and it reflected light so cars could see him but he's outgrown it this year. I'm still searching for a good replacement for him!

Anniversary Flowers

My wonderful husband sent me flowers for our anniversary not once but twice. Aren't I lucky?

Three Years!

This week Chris and I are celebrating our third wedding anniversary! Our first three years have been a little unconventional because three weeks after our wedding, Chris deployed to Iraq. He came home 15 months later and I moved to North Carolina. 14 months after coming home, Chris deployed to Afghanistan and I moved back to Ohio. We are currently half way through the second deployment and a few short weeks away from R&R! In the spirit of the third year, I’m going to post some “threes” about us.

A lot has changed in the three years of our marriage:
1. We bought a house
2. Max joined us
3. Chris deployed, came home, and deployed again!

While living in NC our three favorite places to visit where:

3. Myrtle Beach, SC

Sonya's jobs while being married:
1. Merchant for a jewlery company

3. Medical supply sales

Three things I love about Chris:
