I think we all have heavy hearts and minds after the Sandy Hook shooting on Friday. I know that we've had many discussions, ranging from mental health reform to gun control, with family and friends over the past few days. I thought the president gave a very impactful speech calling all of us to do more to protect our nation's children-and I fully agree. As he said, "Surely, we can do better than this". A point that I'd like to make is to focus on the families who have been affected and surround them with prayers and love and leave politics outside the conversation.
